Adolescents and youth in Ethiopia are the largest section of the population. It constitutes nearly 70% of the total population. As this section of the population is expected to play critical role to chart the future of the country’s development, it will catch as much attention of any development endeavour. Nonetheless, the level of attention given to this section of the population remains daunting and targeted service is yet to mature. The diversity in terms of needs, potentials and roles is often neglected that those working with and for adolescents and youth have been calling for government, donors and the community at large to give due attention and space for adolescents and youth.
